Synch Agreement

Synch agreement – A synch agreement is a contract signed between the two parties – the right holder and the client (the company or individual using the piece of music). The agreement typically includes the term and territory of use, the medium where the piece of music will appear (TV, film, advertisement, video game, etc.) and for how long (in perpetuity, 3 months, etc.), the synchronisation fee, as well as the kinds of rights obtained.
