Public Performance License

Public performance license – A public performance licence grants the user the right to use or play a composition in a public space, such as a shopping mall, bar, hotel, club, or museum, as well as on public mediums like TV, radio, streaming, or online video. Public performance licences are issued by the national Performing Rights Organisation (PRO) for a fee, ensuring that the rights holders are compensated for the public use of their music.
