Join the European Synch Network!

Bridging the gap between the music and audio-visual sectors

Establishing the European Synch Network is the result of an identified need to bring together companies and professionals at the intersection of music and audio-visual sectors (film, TV, VOD, advertising, games, etc.). Deriving from the foundational work of Europe in Synch (EinS) we firmly believe that a formal network could have a positive impact on the medium and long-term development of the European Synch sector. Constraints of the existing (EinS) framework of project partners can be overcome by joining a wider array of members from across Europe who can join forces in expertise and competencies to effectively carry out activities such as advocacy, lobbying, education, development, etc.

What Do We Do?

At EinS, we:

  • Facilitate networking and collaboration across Europe’s music and audiovisual industries.
  • Provide educational workshops, matchmaking sessions and outreach programs through the EinS Academy.
  • Conduct strategic missions to integrate music effectively in film, TV, advertising and gaming.
  • Host the unique Act in Synch event, showcasing cross-industry keynote speakers and launching new talents in synchronization.
  • Develop an online platform and observatory to share industry insights and promote European music for synchronization.

Our Goals:

  • To establish a sustainable ecosystem where music and audiovisual arts not only coexist but also enrich each other.
  • To enhance the global competitiveness of European audiovisual and music productions by promoting cultural diversity and innovative storytelling.
  • To advocate for fair and effective music licensing practices, ensuring that both creators and users benefit.

Why a Network?

  • This network is fundamental for the successful realization of one of our central projects – the Film Music Fund.

The Fund is designed to integrate music into a variety of audiovisual formats, with a special focus on supporting audiovisual projects that are constrained by limited resources.

  • Through the network, we aim to amplify our collective voice, shaping cultural policies and influencing cultural trends across Europe.
  • The network will play a pivotal role in facilitating the use of licensed European music in various audiovisual formats. This includes extending support to short films, low-budget projects, documentaries and other specialised audiovisual works like feature films and games.

Why You Should Join Us:

Joining the European Synch Network means:

  • Being part of a formal network that’s shaping the future of European culture.
  • Influencing the creation of funding schemes for music in audiovisual works, collaboration, learning and professional growth.
