Phonogram – A phonogram refers to a sound recording or master recording, encompassing any audio recording captured on a physical or digital medium. The term is used primarily in copyright law to distinguish the rights associated with the recorded sound from those associated with the musical composition (i.e., the song’s melody and lyrics).
