Licensor

Licensor –  The licensor refers to the person or organisation that grants permission to another party (the licensee) to use their intellectual property, such as music, under specified conditions. This can include music compositions, recordings, and other related works. The licensor retains ownership of the original work while allowing the licensee to use it in exchange for compensation, which may come in the form of royalties, licensing fees, or other financial arrangements.

Licensing agreements can vary in exclusivity and scope, tailored to the specific needs and negotiations between the parties involved.
