The Europe in Synch Academy is heading East, again, this time to attend the first edition of the Music Week Poland conference this week! We are looking forward to an amazing program, a motley cast of delegates, catching up with partners and friends and, of course, to our own workshop: “Dissect Music Supervision”

These selected experts will be the catalysts in our session:

• Renato Horvath (Music licensing specialist & music tech / cultural entrepreneur, HU)
• Agnieszka Chromicka (Film and Advertising producer, PL)
• Dawid Kaźmierczak (Founder & CCO @POLOT, PL)

This workshop invites mature professionals from the music and audio-visual sectors, who understand “music supervision” and work or consider working in this line of work.

We shall
– create a competence profile/description (starting with the term “music supervisor”)
– identify the professional requirements of the job on a top level
– identify the sources and institutions from which to gather the required knowledge/education
– bring input from the market/client side in the respective audio-visual sectors
The day-long session shall systematically address subjects like
– The client side, i.e. the audio-visual sectors, mainly Film/TV and Advertising and their individual requirements to “music consulting”
– The responsibilities, the authority, the social and creative skills
– Original Music & Score
– Technology and platforms: AI and services in the synch sector
– How to get into the business ?
– The Ideal vs. The Real: A discussion
