Phonogram

Phonogram – In legal and copyright terms, a phonogram refers to a sound recording that exclusively captures audio content, independent of any accompanying visual elements such as those found in films or video recordings. Phonograms encompass various forms of audio storage, including discs, tapes, and digital formats. Legal protection for phonograms may be granted under copyright law, related rights (sui generis), unfair competition laws, or penal laws, depending on the jurisdiction and specific circumstances.
