Neighbouring rights- Neighbouring rights refer to the royalties generated from the public performance of a master recording, which are owed to the owners (either the artist or the record label). These royalties are earned each time the song is played in public venues such as restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs, supermarkets, shops, hotels, or any other public space. They are collected by local Performance Rights Organisations (PROs) and distributed to artists, performers, and labels.
