We were holding a Masterclass at Auditorium Center Multimeios de Espinho with Kle Savidge, Polly Duval and our fellow ambassadors Markus Linde & Nuno Saraiva.
This round table delved into the multifaceted role of music supervisors, focusing on the process of synchronization and the various aspects of their work. Panelists discussed the importance of music supervision as an intermediary between the film and music industries, encompassing roles such as interpreter, broker, consultant, rights clearer, budget juggler, and diplomat. The discussion covered the origins of the music, how it’s integrated into the film, and the balance between creative decisions and practical considerations in the music supervision process.
